The “Spice of the Caribbean” and beautiful diving!
Grenada is located at the southern end of the Lesser Antilles. This friendly island offers mountain trails, hot spring pools, hidden waterfalls and white sand beaches! Some of you may remember we were scheduled to go to this unique island in October, 2004. However, a hurricane prevented us from going. We are finally going back, and they are READY for us!! We’ll be diving with Aquanauts, a PADI 5 Star Dive Center on site at our resort, “True Blue Bay”.
The Diving
Exceptional! There is a variety of dive sites from pristine coral garden reefs teaming with colorful marine life, to encrusted wrecks, including the wreck of the cruise liner, “Bianca C”. Their new custom dive boats have a fresh water shower, a head, and plenty of space. Short boat rides to over 30 dive sites on the southern coast alone! The Resort
Charming! An island-famous seaside restaurant on site with breakfast included, Stuart’s Bar, seaside rooms, groomed, flower-fresh grounds, plus much more! For details go to their website at www.truebluebay.com. All rooms have kitchenettes, a/c, ceiling fans, telephone and cable color TV. Choose from the following room categories: Indigo Rooms, Bay View Rooms and Tree Top Suites. Presently, we are booked in the Indigo Rooms overlooking the bay and close to the dive center. If you’d like another type, just let us know, and we’ll make a switch, for no additional cost. (First come, first serve.)
