The small Mexican Island of Cozumel, only 30 miles long and 9 miles wide, is a major destination for divers and snorkelers. It makes for a wonderful, safe, family vacation for non-divers too! The crystal clear Caribbean waters are the main attraction, but the charm of old Mexico can be found on the island and in the town of San Miguel with great dining, shopping, and warm, friendly people.
For the diver Cozumel offers some of the clearest water of the Caribbean with abundant marine life. The typical dive day begins on the dive boat at 8:30 - 9:00 AM for two beautiful dives, then back to the hotel dock about 12 - 1:00 PM. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the island, shop, relax by the pool or ocean, participate in another daily resort activity or whatever you'd like. It is your vacation!
The Resort
Our base of operation for Spring Break is the El Cozumeleno Beach Resort (www.elcozumeleno.com), just 5 minutes north of the town center on a large, beautiful stretch of white sand beach. Snorkeling is available right in front of the resort! The El Cozumeleno is an oceanfront resort with two freshwater pools, two restaurants, a tasty snack bar and 4 bars, nightly entertainment, karaoke, tennis courts and complete gym, non-motorized watersports, daily activities program, volleyball, game room, Kid's Club supervised activities (inclusive) and satellite color TV in every room. Rooms are run of the house, all oceanview, with a patio or balcony. Upgrades are available.
The Diving
We will book our diving with Scuba Du, the same professional operation as we used last year. Their boats will pick us up at our resort dock. The cost of diving last year was $70 per 2 tank dive. - $1,255 per person plus tax, based upon double occupancy (Triple/Quad rates discounted). Upgrades available.
- Children 6 and under: $399 per child plus tax.
- Children 7 - 12: $639 per child plus tax.

- $2/day marine park fee and Dive Master gratuities Not Included.
A non-refundable $300 deposit per person is needed to reserve your spot.
A non-refundable $200 deposit per non diving child is needed.
