We are going back to a spectacular destination with a wonderful oceanfront resort, newly remodeled, the Divi Flamingo Beach Resort and Casino. Bonaire offers much for divers, snorkelers and non-divers alike! This island, just north of the continent of South America, is known for its tropical, dry, arid weather, and steady, warm breezes. Part of the “ABC Islands” (Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao) of the Netherland’s Antilles, Bonaire is the smallest and least populated.

The Diving?
Bonaire is known for its beautiful reefs in one of the most active protected marine parks in the Caribbean. It is called the “Shore Diving Capital of the Caribbean,” as pristine reefs begin on the leeward side of the island just off shore. A daily two tank boat dive is included in the package, but when you are not on the boat, grab a tank, a buddy, and go diving! Klein Bonaire, the little island with fabulous reefs just off Bonaire, is easily accessible by boat. Seahorses, rays, turtles, and a lot of macro marine life await you!

The Resort?
The Divi Flamingo Resort and Casino is a friendly, intimate and informal place overlooking the turquoise Caribbean sea. Oceanside dining adds to the tropical, comfortable atmosphere. Relax by the pool or on the nice sandy beach. Try your luck at the casino! The Divi is close to town, so walking there is no problem. *Cost: Diver: $1995 pp Non-diver: $1745 pp based on double occ. Single, triple rates and room upgrades to oceanfront deluxe rooms or studios with kitchenettes available. Island departure tax of $32 pp, dive master gratuities, optional Group T shirt of $20, and the annual nature/marine park pass of $25 are additional. (This pass now includes entrance to the Washington-Slagbaai National Park!) $300 non-refundable deposits due now to reserve your spots. Final payments due January 2, 2009.
