Judy Schroeder
Having learned to dive at her local dive center in Ohio in 1989,
Judy embraced diving immediately and progressed through the ranks
to become Open Water Instructor in 1991. Since becoming Master
Scuba Diver Trainer in 1993, she is qualified to teach seven specialty
courses. She has experience as Enriched Air Diver Instructor
and is also Enriched Air Gas Blender. Her most recent certification
is Emergency First Response Instructor.
Judy gained her experience through many diving trips to the Caribbea
including a six-month stay on Grand Cayman Island. Local Ohio
diving spots and wreck diving off of the Atlantic coast and in the
Great Lakes were some of her Favorite summer dives. Recently
she has pursued her interest in cold water diving during a six-month
stay in Alaska and a summer in Iceland.
After a long and varied background in both education and the health
sciences, Judy is presently working as Health Sciences Librarian
at Grand Valley State University. Although she has experience
teaching scuba as a college instructor, she enjoys teaching scuba
to people of all ages and all levels of ability.
