Hi, My name is Charlotte DeVries and I am a Divemaster with West
Michigan Dive Center. I began diving in 19??, when Colin and
I first were married. (If you know how long we have been married
than you know how long I have been diving.) I realized that
this sport was going to consume a lot of my new husband’s time
so I decided to join him.
I became a Divemaster in 1981 and began working in that role at
WMDC. I have dove in everything from the warm tropical waters
all over the world to the cool waters in the Great Lakes even under
the ice. From shipwreck to reefs, I enjoy them all.
If you are ever diving in the Cochinos in Honduras, ask to dive
Charlotte’s Choice. This is one of the top ten dive sites
in the Bay Islands named after yours truly. I have even been
on the cover of the Brazilian scuba magazine ”Megular”,
after diving the “Rhone” with Marcus Wernecke from Rio.
